Safety, verification, and trust on Qwikyo

How Qwikyo builds trust

Every person on Qwikyo goes through multiple layers of verification before they can transact:

• Email verification — required to create an account.
• Phone verification — required to post tasks or submit bids.
• Qwikyo Verified badge — optional but recommended; requires a government ID check.
• Professional verification — every professional profile is reviewed by our team before going live.

The Qwikyo Verified badge

The ✓ Verified badge appears on profiles that have completed ID verification. To get it:

1. Go to Settings → Verify Account.
2. Submit a clear photo of your Aadhaar card or PAN card.
3. Our team reviews within 24–48 hours.

Verified users appear higher in search results and receive significantly more responses.

Reviews and ratings

Every completed transaction can be reviewed by both parties. Reviews are:

• Tied to verified transactions — you can only review someone you've transacted with.
• Permanent — Qwikyo does not delete genuine reviews.
• Two-way — customers rate taskers, and taskers rate customers.

A high rating (4.5+) is the single best thing you can do for your Qwikyo reputation.

Reporting a safety issue

If you feel unsafe or experience harassment during a task or booking:

1. Leave the situation and call emergency services if needed (Police: 100, Ambulance: 108).
2. Open the task or booking in the app.
3. Tap Report an issue → Safety concern.
4. Our Trust & Safety team responds within 1 hour for urgent reports.

You can also block any user by visiting their profile → Block user.

Reporting a scam or fraud

If you suspect a scam:

• Never pay outside the Qwikyo app.
• Never share your OTP with anyone — Qwikyo staff will never ask for it.
• Use the Report button on any listing, profile, or message.

What happens after a report

Our Trust & Safety team investigates every report. Depending on findings:

• A warning may be issued to the reported user.
• Their account may be suspended or permanently banned.
• Law enforcement may be contacted for serious violations.

We take all reports seriously and protect reporter identity.
