How to join as a professional

Apply to become a verified professional on Qwikyo and start receiving direct bookings from customers.

Who can apply?

Anyone with proven skill and experience in one of Qwikyo's professional categories: Chef, Tutor, Photographer, Mechanic, or Pandit.

You do not need to be full-time โ€” many professionals on Qwikyo work part-time or on weekends.

How to apply

  1. Go to qwikyo.com/hire/join.
  2. Sign in or create a Qwikyo account if you don't have one.
  3. Fill in the 4-step application form:
    • Category โ€” which service you offer
    • Experience โ€” your background, specialisations, and languages
    • Pricing โ€” your base rate and pricing unit (per hour, per session, per event, etc.)
    • Availability โ€” your weekly schedule and service areas
  4. Submit. Your application status is Draft immediately after submission.

What happens after you apply

Our team reviews every application. We check credentials, and for some categories we may contact you for a short verification call.

Review usually takes 48โ€“72 hours.

Once reviewed, your profile status changes to one of:

Where to see your status

Go to Account โ†’ Professional Profile (or Settings โ†’ Professional Profile) to see your current status and profile details.

Tips for a strong application

  • Upload a real photo โ€” profiles with photos get 4ร— more bookings.
  • Write a specific bio โ€” "I specialise in South Indian cooking and have 6 years of experience catering events in Hyderabad" beats "I am a chef".
  • Set a fair price โ€” check what other professionals in your category charge by browsing /hire.
  • List your actual available days โ€” customers book based on your availability; inaccurate availability leads to cancellations.

After going live

  • Keep your availability calendar updated.
  • Respond to booking requests within 4 hours โ€” response time affects your ranking.
  • After every job, ask the customer to leave a review.
  • High-rated professionals appear first in search results.
